I am a Japanese and Australian 26 year old woman who works part-time. My hobbies are volleyball, weight training, playing instruments, and of course, playing with animals.

I decided to become a pet sitter because I love animals. I grew up with three dogs, all of whom have passed now. Learning, from an early age, how to take pare of and training pets has given me a foundational understanding of how helping others can give you joy. As an adult, I have taken care of my friends' animals (cats, dogs, and a bird) from time to time. I always make sure to ask the right kinds of questions and take in all of the information that is given to me, as every animal has their own specific needs. When I was 19, I stayed on a farm for two months where I took care of twelve large dogs and five indoor cats. There was an order in which I had to feed the dogs so they wouldn't attack each other, and there was a time of day to put cat food in the bowl. There were many things about the animals that needed taking notice of - such as when they became too muddy, or which paddock to take them to in what way. These dogs knew exactly what they liked and needed, and it was my job to know those things. Having had that experience, I know how important habits are, and I will never deviate from them.
