From childhood bunnies and frogs in grandma’s yard to helping my parents to adopt a stray pup (I potty-trained him while fostering him for a month!), I’ve always been the "pet person" in my circle. When friends travel, I’m their first call—whether it’s caring for my sister’s anti-social cat or giving daily meds to a special-needs dog.

Nowadays, my heart belongs to my two rescue cats, Fuligem and Mei, who braved a 31-hour flight from Brazil to Japan with me (because of course they were coming too!). I know leaving your pet feels scary—that’s why I stick to their routines like glue and send you silly photo updates to put your mind at ease.
