I'm a veterinarian's daughter, so I grew up with love and respect for animals ar part of my education, and working as a vet assistant has been the most rewarding, humbling and amazing job I have done. I was raised with cats and later in life I was lucky enough to have a ferret and then a dog. Each of those pets were my family and I deeply treasure those memories.

Now, because of an apartment rule, I'm not allowed to have pets, so becoming a pet sitter would be a way to spend some time around animals, which is something I miss deeply, since for almost 30 years I always had an animal around, and I think that pets really make your life fuller. I also enjoy riding a bike and the outdoor life, and I think that having a furry companion for a nice walk in the park would be amazing, so even very energetic dogs that need very long walks and lots of exercise are welcome. Dirt and mud are no problem for me, and just running around and playing fetch sounds like an ideal afternoon!
